Join the chamber CEO Tyler Prescott and the GHA Advocacy Academy at The Community Tap to learn more about the issues impacting homelessness in our community and how you can advocate for change. Homelessness impacts LGBTQ youth disproportionately sign up to learn how to advocate for the LGBTQ community. 

The GHA Advocacy Training Academy Session will include:

• Homelessness 101 – an overview of homelessness in Greenville

• GHA's Advocacy Agenda –a look at the issues impacting our community like affordable housing, gentrification, eviction, and public transit

• Advocacy 101 - a look at how decisions are made in local government and how to impact the people that are making them

• Putting It All Together – taking what we’ve learned and turning it into action
