David Fruscione is the founder and principal designer of Republic of Decor, an interior design studio, luxury home furnishings showroom, and gift shop in Greenville, South Carolina. With a career spanning residential interiors, retail design, and brand experience, David is known for creating sophisticated, highly personal spaces that balance timeless design with fresh, unexpected details. For more than two decades, David has led design initiatives for some of the country's most recognized retail brands, including Banana Republic, Old Navy, White House Black Market, Chico's, Soma, and Boston Proper. His background in both interior design and large-scale retail environments gives him a unique ability to pair creative vision with exceptional project management, guiding clients seamlessly from concept to completion while delivering spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
David founded Republic of Decor to bring his signature aesthetic and curated approach to clients seeking thoughtfully designed homes layered with distinctive furnishings, art, accessories, and one-of-a-kind pieces. He holds degrees in Interior Architecture from California College of the Arts and the University of San Francisco, along with an associate degree in Fashion Buying & Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
